Custom Fields

Custom Fields let you track up to 10 extra values per flight — anything not covered by the standard logbook fields. You give each field a label and choose one of four types:

• Integer — Whole numbers (e.g. Pax Count)
• Decimal — Decimal numbers (e.g. Fuel Used)
• Time — Duration in HH:MM or Decimal Hours depending on Settings
• Text — Any text value

Defined fields appear when logging flights and are included in CSV exports as labelled columns. Slots you haven't defined are omitted from exports.

Configure them under Settings → Crew & Ops Data → Custom Fields.

   Define your fields

   Go to Settings → Crew & Ops Data and scroll to the Custom Fields card. Tap Add Field, give it a label, and choose a type. You can define up to 10 fields. Drag to reorder; tap a field to edit or delete it.

   Log values

   When adding or editing a flight, scroll to the Custom Fields section. Enter a value for each field you want to record. The input type matches the field type you defined — number pad for Integer/Decimal, time picker for Time, keyboard for Text.

   Export to CSV

   In Settings → Import & Export, export your logbook to CSV. Each defined custom field appears as its own column, using your label as the column header.

   Import from CSV

   When importing a CSV, Block-Time automatically detects columns named Counter 1 through Counter 10 and maps them to the correct fields. Columns using your custom label names (from a previous Block-Time export) are also detected automatically.

   Tip

   If you export your logbook to CSV and re-import it later, custom field data round-trips automatically — no manual column mapping needed.
